Mrs. Nancy Carol Nusbaum, age 57, of Constantine, passed away Monday, March 5, 2012, in Colon, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born April 10, 1954 in Lawton, Okla., a daughter of Thomas and Evelyn (Clayton) Parr.
Nancy had been a lifelong resident of Constantine, where she and her husband Mike raised their three children and were together very active in the Constantine wrestling program and many other functions.
Nancy was employed at Lasco Bathware for many years before working at Lear Plastics before taking ill.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, Michael Nusbaum, whom she married on Aug. 20, 1971; two sons, Shawn Nusbaum, of Colon, and Jason Nusbaum, of Dothan, Ala.; a daughter, Renee (Dennis) Lane of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Lane, Kamron and Teagan Nusbaum, Maddie Burger, Anthony and Travis Arnett, and Alexis Nusbaum; two sisters, Pat (Larry) Misel, Sue Harter; three brothers, David, Jeff, and Timothy Parr; two brothers-in-law, Larry (Carol) and Ron (Bobbi) Nusbaum; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Sam Maddox officiating.
