The Three Rivers Health Auxiliary recently purchased a video laryngoscope for use in the operating suites and emergency room at Three Rivers Health.
Anesthesiologist Dr. Manolo Montes, said he has already had the opportunity to use the newly acquired device said it is a key addition to the operating rooms.
The new equipment allows physicians to quickly intubate airways more safely and easily with the use of a high-resolution video. The video laryngoscope is used during general anesthesia for difficult, damaged or obstructed airways, or for mechanical ventilation.
