Edith Hope, 97

Edith D. (Worrell) Hope, age 97, formerly of Brookville, OH, died Wed. April 12, 2012 in Centreville. She moved to Centreville from Brookville, OH  to be near family members. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Ward Hope; parents, Henry W. & Anna R. (Bunn) Worrell; brothers-in-law, Don Eichelberger & John Hope; sister-in-law, Catherine Hope; nephew Don Eichelberger & niece Brenda Cheatum. Edith is survived by daughters & sons-in-law, Wardina & Nathaniel Johnson of Livingston Manor, NY and Mary Anna & Jess Fogleman of Sturgis MI; grandchildren, David & Daniel Porter, Dianna Foura & Melinda Arnett; 10 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Eichelberger; sister-in-law, Joy Bucher; brother-in-law, Boyd Hope and many nieces, nephews & caring friends. A special Thank You to her Care Givers- No one could give more Love and Care than you did over the past 8 years. The family will receive friends at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE on Sun. April 15, 2-5 PM, with OES Services at 5. Funeral services will be held 11AM Mon. April 16 also at the funeral home, with Pastor James Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Bearcreek Hillgrove Cemetery.
