Jamie I. Hershberger, age 54, of Burr Oak, passed away Sunday, April 8th, 2012 at Sturgis Hospital. She was born in Elkhart, IN on December 18, 1957, a daughter of Elmer and Mildred Inez (Collins) Henderson. On May 12, 1985 she married Daniel Hershberger in Columbus, Miss. Jamie worked at Wendy’s Restaurant in Three Rivers & Schoolcraft. She enjoyed bingo, the New York Yankees, U of M Football, and NASCAR. Jamie especially loved and cherished her family.
Surviving are her children Rmentie Carpenter, Burr Oak, David James O’Brian Keifer, Constantine, Dustin Keifer, Houston, TX, Daniel Keifer, Three Rivers, Amanda Susz-Anne Barnett, Ypsilanti, Julie Hershberger, Elkhart, Stephen Hershberger, S. Bend, Danny Hershberger, Littleton, CO, Daniell Hershberger, Mishawaka, Brian Hershberger, S. Bend, Dewey King, Jr., Three Rivers, many grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Deanna (Mark) Henderson, Three Rivers, Richard (Malinda) Henderson, Cromwell, IN, Charles Henderson, New Castle, IN, Brian “Chug” (Josette) Henderson, Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Scott Carpenter and uncle Ronald Collins.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 5-7 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Memorial Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Gray officiating.
