Susie D. (Bontrager) Miller, age 89, of Centreville, died Thursday, April 12, 2012, at her home.
Susie was born in LaGrange, County, Ind., on Jan. 10, 1923, to Daniel M. and Margaret (Chupp) Bontrager and was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married to Henry J. Miller on Jan. 31, 1946, and they lived in Holy Matrimony for 59 years, 11 months and three days. To this union were born three sons, and three daughters, Rosemary (Raymond) Hochstetler of Sturgis, Harvey (Amanda) Miller of Centreville, Inez (Menno) Petersheim of Shipshewana, Ind., Ura J. Miller of Orlando, Ind. and his former wife, Mattie Miller of LaGrange, Ind., Elsie Miller of Sturgis and Willard (Viola) Miller of New Paris, Ind.
She leaves to mourn six children; one brother-in-law, Joe Yoder of Colon; 31 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; 98 great-grandchildren; and 22 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry; parents; six brothers; eight sisters; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 3 p.m. Saturday and all day Sunday, at the Harvey Miller residence, 58954 Bucknell Road, Centreville.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Harvey Miller residence. Burial will follow in the Amish Cemetery on Truckenmiller Road.
