Walt Jasiak, 68, of Schoolcraft, died April 26, 2012, in Kalamazoo.
He was born Jan. 15, 1944, in Kalamazoo, a son of Walter Sr. and Sabina (Furlepa) Jasiak.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Life Story Funeral Home, Betzler — Kalamazoo, 6080 Stadium Drive, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Martin of Tours in Vicksburg.
Walt owned and operated the States Golf Course for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and niece, Nadia Graf.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Rosalie Jasiak; three children, Eric (Lisa) Jasiak, Anne Marie Jasiak and Sara Jasiak; two grandchildren, Abby and Nick; six siblings, Sabina (John) Lilly, Anastasia Farrell, Catherine (Jon) Burhans, Maryann (Tim) Crawford, James (Mary) Jasiak and Martha (Mark) Graf; and many nieces and nephews.
