Doloriz Jeanette Hendrick, 74, passed away May 8, 2012, at her home in Centreville.
She was born in Knoxville, Tenn., and moved to Michigan as a young child.
The daughter of Sherman and Mary (Woodard) Thompson who preceded her in death, she had two brothers who also preceded her in death, Gene Thompson and James Thompson.
On Aug. 30, 1969, she married Jerry R. Hendrick and was married for 37 years.
She was affiliated with several businesses throughout her life and was deeply involved with community organizations for many years.
She leaves a son, Jerry Roy Hendrick Jr. of Sturgis; a brother, Sherman Thompson Jr. of Winterhaven, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jerry R. Hendrick III and Angelina Kay Hendrick; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date.
