Lidia Theresa Granzotto, age 79, of Three Rivers, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. She was born on July 15, 1932 in Three Rivers, MI. the daughter of Francesco and Marcella (Lupato) DalPonte.
Mrs. Granzotto has been a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. On May 9, 1953 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Frank Granzotto who survives. Lidia and Frank have been devout Catholics where she was very active as the Music Director at Immaculate Conception for many years. She and Frank raised eleven children and Lidia’s family and faith were the focal point of her life.
Mrs. Granzotto was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Elda Hayes.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, Frank Granzotto, of Three Rivers; daughters, Anne Marie Granzotto, Victoria Granzotto, both of Three Rivers, Theresa (Dale) Meade, of Schoolcraft, Lori (Cary) Miller, of Crown Point, IN., Jennifer (Steve) Goffeney, of Kalamazoo, Jeannie (Greg) Rinckey, of Zeeland, Emily (John) Dinegan, of Ripon, WI.; sons, Francis (Renee), Timothy Granzotto, both of Three Rivers, Daniel (Susan), of Elkhart, and Joseph Granzotto, of Three Rivers; thirty-one grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Peter Granzotto as celebrant, and Fr. Mark Vyverman and Fr. Robert Johansen as concelebrants.
Interment will be held in Moorepark Cemetery.
