Andrew Walter ‘Walt’ Gray, 83, of Sturgis, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at his son’s home in White Pigeon, following an extended illness.
He was born July 3, 1928, in Brooklyn, a son of Andrew and Iva (McJury) Gray. He had been a Sturgis resident for 55 years, coming from Three Rivers.
He had been employed as a salesman and truck driver.
He was a member of Sturgis Eagles. He enjoyed his home on Omena Lake, fishing and reading.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen (Milford) Keene of Three Rivers; a son, Gary (Sue) Gray of White Pigeon; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Gray; and a special friend, Dawn Keith.
There will be no visitation or services.
Arrangements are by Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon.
