Anna M. McKay, age 51, of Bronson, passed away late Monday evening, July 16, 2012, at her home.
She was born April 6, 1961, in Detroit, a daughter of Herb and Alice Louise (Greeley) Mowrey.
Anna lived most of her life in the Colon and Bronson area. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and her frogs and loved time spent with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Jamie (Ken) Hedglin of Sharon, Pa., and Alicia McKay of Bronson; one son, James McKay of Fargo, ND; seven grandchildren and one grandchild expected in February 2013; mother, Alice L. Lane of Bronson; two sisters, Julie (Gary) Cummings of Bronson and Melissa (Rod) Redfern of Lebanon, Ky.; three brothers, Allen (Terry) Mowrey of St. Helen, Danny Mowrey of Sturgis and Scott (Melanie) Shuler of Sturgis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her father, Herb Mowrey.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the life of Anna McKay will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Coldwater, 136 E. Chicago Road, Coldwater.
