Johnny Michael Jansen, 24, of Three Rivers, passed away suddenly on July 17, 2012 at the Borgess Medical Center. He was born in Kalamazoo on June 10, 1988 the son of John M. Jansen and Sandra Hemenway.
Johnny has been a lifelong resident of both Mendon and Three Rivers and truly loved his family. He enjoyed music, especially playing guitar and loved animals of all kinds. Johnny will be missed by his family and many, many friends.
Johnny was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ralph Hemenway and Clifford Dick, as well as two uncles, Jeff and Robert “Bob” Hemenway.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his parents, John M. Jansen of Three Rivers and Sandra Hemenway of Three Rivers; sister, Tianna Sears of Mendon; grandparents, John (Sharon) Jansen of Three Rivers and Donna Dick of Mendon.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Chaplain Dan Lane of Armstrong International officiating.
Memorials may be donated to the St. Joseph County Animal Rescue Fund (A.R.F.) or to The Jansen Family. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
