Matthew James Fuller, age 24, died on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, near Sturgis.
Matthew was born on Oct. 19, 1987, in Kendallville, Ind. He lived in Albion for eight years, attending Central Noble High School. Prior to Albion, he had lived in Kendallville.
Matthew worked in construction and served his country in the U.S. Army, serving in Afghanastan. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and being with his friends.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Carol (Rusmisel) and Dwight Bushce Jr. of Albion; his father, and stepmother, Will and Tammy Fuller of Centreville; his son, Gavin Fuller, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his daughter, Aleah Fuller of Three Rivers; two sisters, Melissa (Kevin) McQueen of Columbia City, Marie (Ryan) Masters of Auburn, Ind.; a brother, Michael Rusmisel of Lexington, Ky.; maternal grandparents, Dean and Arlene Rusmisel of Kendallville; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Opal Fuller of Wolcottville, Ind.; two stepsisters, Jackie and Kristina Jennett of Centreville; four step brothers, Benjamin Jennett, Tom Jennett, Michael Boley, all of Centreville, and Devin Busche of Albion; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, Dan and Patty Rusmisel, Jim and Dea Rusmisel, and Jim and Cindy Clevenger all of Kendallville, Bobby Fuller of Wolcottville, Rex and Sue Freeman of LaGrange, Ind., Randy and Willadean Freeman of Angola, Ind., and Joe Fuller of LaGrange. Also surviving is Matthew’s girlfriend, Valerie Hershbarger of Sturgis.
He was preceeded in death by his stepbrother, Darrell Jennett Jr.
Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Brazzell Funeral Home, Albion Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at the funeral home. Pastor Chris Mosley of Grace Christian Church will officiate.
Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion.
