Vickie L. Tucker, age 63, of Centreville, passed away Sunday, July 15th, 2012 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born in Wayne, MI on January 17, 1949, a daughter of Wesley and Ruby (Lockhart) Angles. Vickie graduated from Wayne Memorial High School in 1967. On August 24, 1968 she married Mahlon Tucker in Wichita, Kansas. She enjoyed craft work including ceramics, crochet and needlework and playing with her game boy.
Surviving are her husband Mahlon Tucker, daughters Kelly (Jeffery) Marburger of Indiana, Shannon (Glenn) St. Louis of Constantine, son Shawn Tucker of Constantine, sister Joyce Pierce of Indian River, MI, grandchildren Natasha Tucker, Shyanne St. Louis, Wesley Tucker, Christal Tucker, Alundra St. Louis, Kalep St. Louis, Sean Tucker and Kloiee Tucker, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Shane M. Tucker, and brother Wesley H. Angles.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday from 12 – 2 PM at the Eley Funeral Home in Centreville where Religious Services will follow at 2:00 P.M. Pastor David Peterson, Centreville Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Prairie River Cemetery in Centreville. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
