David John Wanko, 63, of Constantine, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at his home of natural causes.
He was born Oct. 29, 1948, in Paw Paw, Mich., the son of John D. and Audrey L. (Pease) Wanko.
He lived in the Constantine and Three Rivers area most of his life and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a cabinet maker for Coachman and an auto mechanic.
Surviving are a sister, Linda Moon on Niles, Mich.; two brothers, Robert Wanko of Roscommon, Mich., and Douglas Wanko of Rose Bud, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no visitation. Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Harrison Cemetery, Decatur, Mich. Donations may be directed to the Humane Society. Arrangements are being handled by the Farrand Funeral Home of White Pigeon.
