Hope Spenner, 39

Hope Ann (Fritz) Spenner,   age 39, of Centreville, passed away Tuesday, August 14th, 2012 at her home. She was born in in Three Rivers on March 13, 1973, the daughter of W. James & Linda Ann (Frays) Fritz. Hope graduated from Centreville High School. She attended Ball State University for 2 years and then received her degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University. On September 13, 2005, Hope married Robert Spenner at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Centreville.

Hope worked as a Domestic Violence Advocate at the Cass County Prosecutors Office and the Branch County Domestic Assault group. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She loved animals and enjoyed reading, especially mysteries and magazines. Hope and Robert loved to travel and explore various cities.

Surviving are her husband Robert Spenner, Centreville, father James Fritz, Centreville and grandmother Norma Frays of Centreville along with many cousins, aunts and uncle. She was preceded in death by her mother Linda Fritz, grandfather James Frays, uncles Randy and Doug Frays.

Relatives and friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Religious Services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Centreville, with Pastor David Grimm officiating. Memorials may be made to the church.
