Jack Arbanas, age 78, of Sturgis, Michigan died Saturday, July 7, 2012. For the past year, he was lovingly cared for by his wife, Rose, and the Willows staff at Spring Arbor Assisted Living for Alzheimer’s disease.
In accordance with Jack’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday, at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes – Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis, MI 49091. A memorial service celebrating the life of Jack G. Arbanas will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Sturgis Wesleyan Church. Mr. Mike Mort will officiate.
The family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donation in Jack’s memory consider the Sturgis Foundation, 310 N. Franks Ave., Sturgis, MI 49091.
