E. Virginia J. Lash, age 96, of Vicksburg, MI, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the Bowman House. She was born in Watervliet, MI. on Sept. 29, 1915 the daughter of John Ray and Jennie Belle (Shingledecker) Mohney.
Mrs. Lash has been a life long resident of this area and a long time member of Center Park United Methodist Church. She truly loved spending time with her family, working in her garden, and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leonard W. Lash, one son, David A. Lash, son-in-law, Paul Fenwick, and several brothers and sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three children, son, Harold “Bud” Lash, of Three Rivers; daughters, Shirley Fenwick, of Three Rivers, and Janice Hampton, of Granger, IN.; one sister, Rosetta M. Howe, of Petosky, MI.; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Rev. John Hill officiating of the Newberg Norton Bible Church.
Interment will be held in Mint (North Park) Cemetery.
