The Three Rivers Department of Public Services has announced city residents may begin placing brush in the terrace area beginning Monday in advance of pickup starting Oct. 8.
The department will pick up brush in third district Oct. 8, followed by first district Oct. 9, fourth district Oct. 10 and second district Oct. 11.
Department officials said brush pick up will be done only once this fall, and they are recommending all brush be in the street by 7 a.m. on the day of pick up. The pickup is for brush only; brush mixed with leaves will not be picked up, DPS officials said.
Fall leaf pickup will start Oct. 15, with a second round of leaf pickup beginning in mid-November.
