Two arrested for meth production

A tip regarding the potential manufacturing of methamphetamine led to two arrests early Sunday.

The St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit executed a search warrant around 1 a.m. at a residence in the 60000 block of U.S. 131 in Fabius Township. Two men, whose ages and addresses were not immediately available from police, were taken into custody.

In addition, equipment and components used to produce meth were seized.

The suspects face charges of possessing methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house.
