Bonnie Jarratt, 55

Bonnie Jo Jarratt, age 55, of Sturgis, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at home.

She was born March 6, 1957, in Three Rivers, a daughter to Duane Sr. and Janet (Breece) Jarratt.

Bonnie has resided in Sturgis for 30 plus years, moving here from Centreville.

Bonnie received her medical assistant degree from Glenn Oaks Community College and has worked in various factories and was currently employed by Lake Park Industries in Middlebury, Ind.

She enjoyed sewing, spending time with her grandchildren, and was proud of being “not normal.”

Surviving are one daughter, Kelli (Alex) Runyon of East Leroy; son, Carl (Shelby) Van Voorhees of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Zachary Good, Haley, Lilly, and Holly Runyon, and Bailey Horrall; unborn grandson, Ryu Xavier; mother, Janet Jarratt of Centreville; sister, Sylvia (Gary) Clouse of Sturgis; two brothers, Duane Jarratt of Parchment and Keith (Cody) Jarratt of Constantine.

She was preceded in death by her father; son, Dustin “Raze” Pike; and infant son, Mitch.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and relatives from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday at the Hackman Family Funeral Home – Rosenberg Chapel, 807 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family, envelopes are available at the funeral home.
