Ella Pagels, 79

Ella E. Pagels, age 79, of Centreville, passed away Tuesday, October 9th, 2012 at her daughter’s home in Three Rivers. Ella was born in Allegheny County, PA on December 10, 1932, a daughter of Jesse W. and Mable (Quake) Arnold. Ella worked as a Nurses Aid at Fairview Nursing Home in Centreville and also for the Arco Rubber Company in Schoolcraft.

Surviving are her children Charles (Kari) Shie, Stanton, MI, LaDonna Pagels, Three Rivers, Thomas Pagels, Centreville, and Steven Pagels, Centreville, grandchildren, Sharon (Paul) Parks, Hubbardston, MI, Leslie Shie, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD, Billy Max (Emily) Westera, Norfolk, VA, Charles II (Melissa) Shie, Fort Gordon, GA, Casey (Allen) Hustin, Fort Bragg, NC, Michael Thomas Pagels, Mt. Pleasant, MI, great grandchildren, Sarah, Scott and Jessica Parks, Rory and Tristan Shie, Charles III and Catherine Shie, Allen II and Owen Hustin, Kayla and Billy Westera, sisters Elsie Ludwig, Jones, MI, and Janice White, Three Rivers, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Herman Shie and Leslie Eugene Pagels, daughter Tina Pagels, brother William Jessie “Red” Arnold and sister Pearl Hagerty.

Relatives and friends will be received Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at the Eley Funeral Home in Centreville where Religious Services will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Sandy Miller officiating.
