Imogene Kursner, 90, of Three Rivers, passed away on Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at Three Rivers Health. She was born in Avoca, Ind. on April 20, 1922 the daughter of Harley and Geneva (Jennie) Holmes.
Imogene worked for many years at Continental Can from where she eventually retired. She was an avid reader and also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Kursner was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill Kursner, in 2002; daughter, Kay Frances; brother, Clayton Holmes; grandson, Jeffery Cross.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory one daughter, Jan (John) Cross of Three Rivers; son, Scott (Cynthia) Kursner of Portage; sister, Alma (Gene) Jones of Bedford, Ind.; grandchildren, Jaimie (Cory) Patrick, Aaron (Amanda Methner) Kursner and Jason Kursner; great-grandchildren, Cole Kursner and Claire Patrick.
A private burial of cremains will take place at Riverside Cemetery with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating.
