Jean Kay Hendricks, 70, of Three Rivers, passed away on Oct. 13, 2012 at the Borgess Medical Center. She was born Aug. 7, 1942 in Dowagiac the daughter of Henry and Eloise (Broyles) Davidhizar.
Jean has been a long time resident of Three Rivers and Centreville. She was a member of the Amazing Grace Church in Portage. Jean never met a stranger and was well liked by many people. She was an avid hunter and bowler.
Mrs. Hendricks was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Don and Henry (Virginia) Davidhizar and one half-brother, Don Crise.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory two brothers, Dale (Dorothy) and Robert (Connie) Davidhizar; half brother, Wayne (Carol) Crise; four half-sisters, Zelma Castle, Mable Dillingham, Marlene Smith and Judy McKee; sister-in-law, Patricia Davidhizar, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 22 at the Amazing Grace Baptist Fellowship Church, 10010 Portage Rd., Portage, MI 49002, with Pastor John Higgins officiating.
