Kathryn Hershberger, age 90, of Bronson, passed away, Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012.
Kathryn was born March 15, 1922, in Allen County, Ind., a daughter to the late Jacob and Barbara (Eicher) Kauffman.
She had lived most all of her life in rural Bronson, where she was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
On Nov. 22, 1973, she married Rueben E. Hershberger in Allen County, Ind., and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1977.
She is survived by her step children, Katie (Jonas) Gingerich of Clark, Miss., Mary (Sam) Miller of Colchester, Ill., Noah (Susie) Herschberger of Hazelton, Iowa,, Wallace H. Hershberger of Bronson, Joni (Ida) Hershberger of Bronson, and Susie (John) Bontrager of Gonvick, MN; many step-grand and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Leah Miller of Ashley, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rueben E. Hershberger; two brothers, Sam and Henry Kauffman; two step daughters, Lizzie Olson and Polly Hershberger.
The family will receive relatives and friends after 2: p.m. today and all day Tuesday, at the David Stutzman residence at 812 George Road, Bronson, MI 49028.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at 9 a.m. at the David Stutzman residence with Bishop Danny Otto and Minister David Stutzman officiating. Burial will follow at Millers Cemetery in LaGrange, County, Ind..
