Lola Carleen Musser, age 87, of Portage MI, formerly of Bedford, VA, passed away Oct. 24, 2012 at Clare Bridge of Portage. Lola was born on September 26, 1925 in Constantine, MI. the daughter of the late Ernest and Florence Marie (Kelly) Fairchild.
Mrs. Musser was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond Dale Musser, who passed away July 7, 1985, son Stanley L. Musser, who passed away on April 15, 2005, and siblings, James A. Fairchild and Kathleen Fairchild.
Lola was an active member and volunteer of her community & church. She loved to sew, cook, hike, travel & garden.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Steven D. Musser and wife Jean M. Musser, of Anchorage, AK; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Thelma Fairchild, of Three Rivers MI.; one daughter-in-law, Phylis Musser, of Eastampton NJ.
Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
