Addie Loudean (Carter) Carter, 94, went to be with her heavenly father on Sept. 20, 2012. Loudean was born to George Washington Carter and Cordie B. (Franks) Carter on Feb. 9, 1918 in Houston, Miss.
Loudean moved to Three Rivers in 1941 with her husband Edgar and their son. Loudean retired from Weyerhaeuser after 17 years of service. She was also a member of the Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene. In 1991 Loudean and her husband relocated to Stuart, Fla. Loudean transferred her church membership to Palm City New Hope Fellowship Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters and six brothers, her husband Edgar and her son, Edgar Carter, Jr. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Deborah Carter; grandchildren, Edgar Carter, III, Nathan (Antje) Carter and Natalie (Duane) Kant; great-grandchildren, Natascha and Jasmine Carter, Callie, Drew and Brock Kant and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. at Palm City New Hope Fellowship, 3900 SW Citrus Blvd. (76A), Palm City, Fla. Memorials may be given to New Hope Fellowship in Loudean’s memory. A guest registry is available on www.foresthillspalmcityflorida.com.
