The 22nd annual Lights of Love at Three Rivers Health has set a fundraising goal of $12,000 this year.
Campaign chair Diane Reece said proceeds will be used to purchase new equipment for the laboratory at Three Rivers Health.
Each donation of $3 or more will add a light to the tree. The light symbolizes the memory of a loved one or expression of appreciation for a friend or family member, Reece said.
The hospital has purchased two new trees for the 2012 campaign. The tree-lighting ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8.
On a side note, after a 16-year run, Reece said this will be her final year as chair of the annual event.
