Gladys M. Shingledecker, 74, of Marcellus, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.
She was born Jan. 5, 1938 in Tekonsha. On April 26, 1963 in Constantine she married Wilbur L. Shingledecker who survives.
Gladys enjoyed camping, especially in the Upper Michigan. She made many wedding cakes and also enjoyed needlework. She was a dear friend to many who will be greatly missed.
Surviving besides her husband, Wilbur, are one sister, Lillian Rhodes of Three Rivers; one half-brother, Max Hard of Constantine; sister-in-law, Jackie Hard of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Hard.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 in the Mater-Ralston Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Marcellus Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4 in the funeral home.
