Regional championships and a berth to the state’s Final Four in their respective divisions are on the line for three area high school football teams.
Sporting an 8-3 record, the Three Rivers Wildcats will travel to play Grand Rapids South Christian, also 8-3, in District 4 regional action tonight at 7 o’clock.
In District 6, Constantine will again play a road game and – for the second consecutive weekend – challenge an undefeated team. The 9-2 Falcons will tangle with the 11-0 Hillsdale Hornets, also at 7 p.m. today.
And in Division 8, Mendon will face a post-season rematch against 8-3 Muskegon Catholic Central in Mendon for the second year in a row. The contest takes place at 1 p.m. Saturday.
Mendon boasts an 11-0 record and has won 25 consecutive games. The Hornets topped MCC a year ago in the second round of the playoffs, 28-21,
