Charles Frank Fast, age 59, of Jackson, Mo., and formerly of Sturgis, passed away Friday Dec. 14, 2012, at his home in Jackson.
He was born Sept. 7, 1953, in Albion, a son of G. Dale and Margaret (Blodgett) Fast.
Charles attended school in Albion, moving in 1962 with his parents to Sturgis, where he resided until 2007. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Fruitland American Meat in Fruitland, Mo. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid professional sports fan.
Loving survivors include a sister, Lois (Grover) Jones of Jackson, Mo.; a brother, James (Karen) Fast of Firestone, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral arrangements and cremation services were provided by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, Mo. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
