A Constantine Public Schools policy committee will have an abundance of information to review next month, following a special meeting its board of education conducted Wednesday.
Staged in light of a series of policies employed following an incident last month, the district asked the public for feedback during what turned out to be an hour-long gathering.
About 50 participants gathered in groups of eight to 10 at six tables, each featuring a board of education member. Policies put in place after two 5-year-old boys demonstrated sexual conduct inside a classroom.
Ideas about the district’s policies were written on notecards and given to board members, who will turn them over to the policy committee for its review in January.
