Gloria J. Dunafin, 88, of LaGrange, Ind., died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Miller’s Merry Manor in LaGrange.
Mrs. Dunafin was born June 19, 1924, in LaGrange County to Robert E. Sr. and Marie (Choler) Frutig. They preceded her in death.
Living her lifetime in LaGrange County, she worked at Kirsch Company in Sturgis for 33 years. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Wolcottville, Ind., and the LaGrange American Legion Auxiliary.
On July 3, 1942, she married Robert Lee Dunafin in LaGrange. He preceded her in death Aug. 11, 1973.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, William L. Dunafin of LaGrange and Robert and Louise Dunafin of Wolcottville; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Halbert; and three brothers, Phillip Frutig, A.J. Frutig, and Robert Frutig Jr.
Visitation will held 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Tews officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in LaGrange.
Memorials may be given to Messiah Lutheran Church.
