A 46-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday on drug-related charges following a traffic stop in Burr Oak.
The man, whose name was not released, was stopped at 3 a.m. at Burr Wood Drive and found to be under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license. Upon further investigation, deputies found an undisclosed amount of marijuana and a hallucinogenic drug, as well as $4,500 in cash.
He was charged with driving under the influence second offense, suspended license and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. Information about the subject has been turned over to the St. Joseph County Area Narcotics unit.
