Nick Chapman, 13

Nicholas Chapman, age 13, of Three Rivers, MI passed away on December 17, 2012. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on June 13, 1999, the son of Ralph and Lori (Dentler) Chapman. Nick attended the Three Rivers Middle School and was an active and loving young man. He enjoyed swimming and drawing, spent many hours playing video games and always looked forward to new and exciting roller coasters. He never missed an opportunity to spend time with his family and friends, especially his brother Bradley. He had a great smile and giving nature that made him a joy to be around. He leaves us with many special memories, and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving parents; his siblings, Amber and Bradley Chapman; a nephew, Landin Chapman; grandparents, Sandra Dentler, Chris (Dentler) Hodges; great-grandmother, Lillian Dentler; many aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends. He was preceded in passing by his grandmother, Oneda Chapman; grandfather, Jerry Dentler; and aunt, Sherrie DeBoer.

A service to celebrate Nick’s life will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012, beginning at 1:00 PM at Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating. A visitation will take place from 11:00 to 1:00 on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment in Parkville Cemetery.
