Sandra Frey, 74

Mrs. Sandra K. Frey, 74, of Blythewood, S.C., passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving husband, daughter and son-in-law, and grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Columbia in Boyce Chapel. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon — 2 p.m. prior to the service on Monday, at the church.

Mrs. Frey was born in Three Rivers, and was the daughter of the late Harvey Nolan and Alice Sholtey DeLong. She was retired from public education after 23 years as a high school teacher. She had formerly served as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School teacher, and had worked in the nursery. She was most recently a member of First Baptist Church of Columbia.

She is survived by her husband, David L. Frey of Blythewood, S.C.; son, Douglas E. Frey of Austin, Texas; daughter, Susanne M. Carroll (John); and four grandchildren, Rachel, Ann, Brent and Amy Carroll.
