Suzanne Marie Beurmann, age 50, of Marcellus, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic, in Ohio. She was born on August 19, 1962 in Ypsilanti, MI. the daughter of John and Judy (Bates) Gavin Sr.
Suzanne was a bright and vibrant soul. Her journey found her very active in caring for special needs adults and children, especially those suffering from Alzheimer’s and Geriatric needs. She was very active with Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Her true love belonged to her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Suzanne before taking ill was employed by the Cass County C.O.A. as their respite administrator.
Mrs. Beurmann was preceded in death by her father.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, mother, Judy Gavin of Marcellus; her husband, Dennis Beurmann, of Marcellus, three children, D.J. Beurmann, Shantel (Nicholas) Palmer, and Kristyn (Jacob) Parker-Meyer, all of Three Rivers; two sisters, Karen Meeth, Kelly (L.T. Ward) Henneman, both of Three Rivers; one brother, John (Linda) Gavin Jr., of Three Rivers; five beloved grandchildren, Jacob Parker-Meyer, Gavin, Lia, and Jackson Palmer, and Skylar Sams-Beurmann, all of Three Rivers; as well as her very loved and cared for nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of her memorial celebration at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
