A 60-year-old Three Rivers woman was injured Friday shortly after 5:30pm when she was struck by a semi-rig on US-131 in Schoolcraft. Anne Daugherty was attempting to cross the highway on foot in the business district, when she was struck in the turn lane of Grand Street by a southbound semi preparing to turn east at the traffic light on Eliza Street. The crash did not occur in the crosswalk. Daugherty was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital for treatment.
