Residents in St. Joseph and Branch counties are asked to check their mailboxes for a survey to be sent soon by the Prairie River Watershed Planning Project.
Project director Rachel Smith said as part of the Prairie River Watershed Planning Project, replies from residents in the watershed area are critical, as they are considered the people who know the watershed the best.
Smith said the first round of surveys and replies was helpful, and she offered her thanks to the residents who took the time to return a questionnaire.
Information is used to create informational and educational programs relevant to the Prairie River.
Smith said a survey may be obtained from the website: branchcd.org, or by calling 517-278-2725 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting, ext. 5.
