Stephen Edward Burnham, age 40, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013, following a long illness, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born December 15, 1972 in Sturgis, a son of Dennis and Sally (Cobbs) Burnham. In his younger years he lived in Arizona and Utah, and came back to Michigan and has resided in Three Rivers since 1990. Stephen graduated in 1992 with the Three Rivers Adult Graduation Class and received his GED. He was recently employed at Mr. B’s Dairy Bar. Stephen loved to go fishing and hunting, play cards, golf, and spend time with family.
He is survived by his father Dennis (Sonya) Burnham, Three Rivers, mother Sally Burnham, Sturgis, sister Denise (Heath) Yuzuik, Arizona, daughter Nikol Black, Mottville, two aunts, Sue Fry, Sturgis, Carol (Paul) Decker, Spring Lake, grandmother Beverly Burnham, Centreville, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Dale Burnham, and maternal grandparents Milan E. Cobbs, and Barbara J. Cobbs,
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
