Chuck Anable, 75

Charles D. (Chuck) Anable, age 75, of Centreville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 17th, 2013 at Borgess Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born in Three Rivers, on October 1, 1937, a son of Clayton and Leona (Harden) Anable. Chuck graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1956. On April 20, 1958 Chuck married Karen Brueck in Centreville. He lived his entire married life in Centreville in a house he built himself. Chuck worked most of his life as a carpenter building custom residential homes. He worked first with his father and brother and later with Cardinal Homes of Three Rivers. After retirement , Chuck worked part-time for the Village of Centreville.

Chuck was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, especially deer hunting, golfing, and camping. He took great pride and joy in his family. Some of his favorite times and memories were the vacations to Disney World, mushrooming at Torch Lake and the annual Labor Day weekends in Mackinaw City. Chuck could be seen traveling the streets in Centreville in his golf cart visiting his friends.

Surviving are his wife Karen Anable, Centreville daughters Debra (James) Gaugier of Vicksburg, Dianne (Scott) Weiderman of Centreville, grandchildren Eric (Cassie) Weiderman, Centreville, Sara (Travis) Houghton, Holt, Mark (Ally Daily) Gaugier, Lansing, Laurie (Chad) Beck, Centreville, great grandchildren Maddi Weiderman, Cadence Weiderman and Carson Beck, brother James Anable of Three Rivers, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant brother Donald Anable and in-laws LeRoy and Myrtle Brueck.

Relatives and friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville. Religious Services will be at Fish Lake Bible Church, Sturgis, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 23rd, with Pastor Tim Brondyke officiating. Interment will be at Prairie River Cemetery.
