Kathy Marie Hoercher, 62, of Three Rivers, passed away surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Kathy was born on Nov. 26, 1950 in Coldwater the daughter of Arnold and Edith (Taber) Swift.
Kathy has been a resident of Three Rivers for more than 37 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Kathy enjoyed traveling, working in her flower garden, craft shows, going to movies, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Kathy’s greatest joys where her children, grandchildren, and her loving husband George.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, George Hoercher, Sr.; two sons, George H. (Christy) Jr. and Brad J. (Kim) Hoercher, all of Three Rivers; three sisters, Rene (Robert) McDonald of Union, Leanna Shortridge of Bronson and Julie (Dan) Slusser of Quincy; four brothers, Lynn (Elaine) Swift, Ron Swift and Randy (Laurie) Swift, all of Quincy, Roy Swift, of Angola, Ind.; four special grandchildren, Tayler and Caiden, Lucan and Berkeley Hoercher.
A memorial service will be held at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers on Saturday, March 9 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Barb Van Eck officiating.
Private burial of cremains will take place at Matteson Cemetery in Bronson.
