Paul Jacobs, 84

Paul Robert Jacobs, 84, of Three Rivers, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013 at Fairview Nursing and Rehab Facility. Paul was born June 2, 1928 in Centreville the son of Ernest and Edna (Cain) Jacobs.

Paul owned a dairy farm in Three Rivers where he managed and tended to his land. Paul then developed and owned his excavating business “Jacobs Excavating” with his son, Steve, in 1968. He enjoyed tending to his beef cattle and all of his farming duties. Paul truly enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren especially giving backhoe rides on the farm.

Paul was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn, in 2010; two brothers, Phillip and Donald Jacobs; two sisters, Ernestine and Harriet; and one daughter, Linda.

Paul leaves to cherish his loving memory, son, Steve (Caren) Jacobs of Three Rivers; daughter, Donna Krull of Constantine; sister, Doris; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Private burial of cremains will take place at a later date.
