Richard B. Moody, 69, of White Pigeon, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. Richard was a tool and die maker and enjoyed collecting antiques and memorabilia. He was a marksman in the U.S. Army and was active in the Masons of Constantine. He was associated with Mottville Bible Church.
He was born April 29, 1943, in Portland, Maine to Ellery and Helen (Rose) Moody. On Dec 3, 1966 he married Gail A. Moore in South Bend, Ind.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Eric (Jackie) Moody of Grand Rapids and Michele (Michael) McRae of Manassas, Va.; grandchildren, Emily, Ryan and Julia Moody and Mackenzie and Megan McRae; sisters, Janice (Robert) Herr and Ann Moody of Fort Wayne, Ind.; brother, David (Barb) Moody of Garrett, Ind. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Rosemary Moody and Barbara Fowles; brothers, Raymond and Keith Moody.
An open house in his honor will be held this Saturday, March 16, from noon — 4 p.m. at the Moody residence in White Pigeon.
