Ron Carpenter, 71

Ronald KinKade Carpenter of Arcadia, Fla., passed away March 15, 2013 in Port Charlotte, Fla. He was born in Three Rivers, Nov. 11, 1941 to Mary Altonia Mercer and Hubert K. Carpenter.

On Sept. 1, 1994 Ron married Joyce Scott in Fla. She survives along with two stepdaughters; two stepsons; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Naoma Irelan, White Pigeon, brothers, Bill (LaDonna) Carpenter, Oakwood, Ohio, Phillip (Pam) Hoffine, Three Rivers, Danny Urick, Mich., and step-father John Reid, Ariz. Preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Horace (Leora) Carpenter and Fletcher (Anna) Mercer; sister, Diana Couch; stepfather, Harold Hoffine; stepmothers, Ruth Carpenter and Audrey Carpenter; nephew, Ronnie Dean Ramer and brother-in-law, David Irelan. Cremation has taken place.
