Oldest American lives in Michigan

An Inkster woman has claimed the title of oldest person in the United States. At 113-years-old, Jeralean Talley is now the oldest living American and third-oldest person in the world. She became the oldest living person when Elsie Thompson of Florida passed away on March 21st. Talley was born in Montrose, Georgia, on May 23rd, 1899, and moved to Michigan in 1935.  (MRN)
