William Peterson, age 63, Three Rivers, passed away Saturday, May 25th, 2013. Bill was born in Three Rivers, on October 8, 1949, a son of George and Christine (Jansen) Peterson. He graduated from Centreville High School in 1968. On December 30, 1977 Bill married Lynelle Reed at the Florence Church of the Brethren in Constantine. He worked at Markline Industries, Bristol, IN and had served in the National Guard. Bill was an accomplished woodworker and enjoyed home construction and remodeling. He also loved to read and cherished spending time with his family. He attended Riverside Church in Three Rivers.
Surviving are his daughters Samantha (Jody) Linnell of Elkhart, Christine Peterson, Caitlyn (Sean) Willingham, Breanna Peterson, son Braxton Peterson and their mother Lynelle Peterson all of Vicksburg, brothers George Peterson of Missouri and Dennis Peterson of Stevensville, MI, grandchildren Jasmine, Jacob, Lauren, and MacKenna Clupper. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Jacob Peterson, granddaughter Gabrielle Clupper and brother Gerald Peterson.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday from 1 – 3 p.m. at Eley Funeral Home in Centreville where Religious Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday. Pastor Jerry Solis, Celebrate 1 Church of Sturgis will officiate. Cremation will follow services. Memorial contributions may be made to Eley Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
