Dan White, 61

Daniel LeRoy White, age 61, of White Pigeon, passed away Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Toledo, OH on October 26, 1951, a son of Jessie and Elizabeth (Smith) White. Dan graduated from Bedford High School in Temperance, MI and later earned his Bachelors Degree from Ferris State University and later obtained his Masters Degree in Teaching.. Dan taught science at White Pigeon Public Schools, where he was also a wrestling coach. He owned and operated the Main Street Cafe in Three Rivers.

Dan enjoyed working on cars, canoeing and bonfires with friends. He especially loved sitting and talking with people in his restaurant. Surviving Dan are his stepson Mike (Nancy) Russell of Three Rivers, brothers Bo (Mary) White of Petersburg, MI, Jim (Judy) White of Petersburg, MI, Bob (Linda) White of Malone, Wisconsin, many nieces and nephews, and his special friend Deborah Balog of Three Rivers. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Relatives and friends will be received at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Missionary Church in Constantine at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, with Pastor Terry Neumayer officiating.
