Dolores J. Stock, age 82, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, May 5th, 2013 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born in Constantine on November 29, 1930, a daughter of Laverne and Naomi “Pearl” (Powers) Johnson. Dolores graduated from Constantine High School in 1947. On August 3, 1957, Dolores married Harold T. Stock, Jr. at Messiah Lutheran Church in Constantine. He preceded her in death August 8, 1994. She was a lifetime member of Messiah Lutheran Church, and was a secretary at Frank Bush Attorney at Law during the 1950’s. Dolores was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family. She served as Scout Den Mother, and enjoyed following her sons through Little League. Dolores and Harold also enjoyed traveling together to warmer climates during the winter.
Surviving are her sons Harold “Tom” Stock III, Fayetteville, NC, William Stock, Three Rivers, sister Karen “Peach” Schrock, Three Rivers, grandchildren William Stock, Jr., Ben Stock and Emily Fink, great grandchildren Joe, Makenzie, Zoey and Clara, nephew Ray Schrock, nieces Jodie McCarty and Suzie Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Ben and John Stock, and a sister Shirley Kramb.
Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday from 5 – 8 p.m. at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. Graveside Services will be at Constantine Township Cemetery Wednesday at 11 AM with Reverend Dennis Smith officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Constantine Food Pantry.
