Two incumbents on the Three Rivers City Commission will be uncontested, while Mayor Tom Lowry and an at-large spot will be decided by voters in November.
Jared Hoffmaster and Diane Haley-Clay are poised to earn two-year seats, as they are unopposed.
Meanwhile, South Constantine Street resident Larry Nichols is challenging Lowry, the incumbent mayor, for a two-year term. In addition, a two-year term for an at-large post is being sought by three people: Larry Matson, Matthew Mosher and Linda Gearhart. Incumbent David York will not be seeking re-election, as he is moving out of the city limits.
A primary election to narrow the field of the three at-large candidates to two will take place in August.
