Patricia L. (Miller) Arrington, age 80 of Three Rivers died Monday April 29, 2013 at Kairos Dwelling Hospice Home in Kalamazoo. She was born in Rochester, MI on Sep. 27, 1932 the daughter of David and Aleese (Tobler) Miller and has been a lifetime resident of Three Rivers and graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1950. She was married Harrington in 1954. Patricia had worked briefly as an operator at General Telephone (GTE) and later as a teacher’s aide at Three Rivers Middle School. She retired as a sales associate from K-Mart. Patricia enjoyed playing golf, tennis, watching all sports, and trips to Traverse City and Florida. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by three children, Mark (Beth) Arrington of Three Rivers, Diane (Darryl) Davis of Coral Springs, FL, and Pamela Kutz of Three Rivers; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mona Talmage of Three Rivers; many lifelong friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by two brothers, Cameron Miller and David Miller. We will not say”good-bye” but only “gute-nacht”.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has been conducted. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers. Memorial services will begin at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor John Booko officiating.
